Services Overview
SCB Consultancy supports schools, trusts and local authorities to strengthen inclusive systems, improve engagement and reduce suspensions and exclusions. Our work focuses on culture, systems and practice, helping organisations move beyond short term fixes towards sustainable, whole school change.
We offer a comprehensive range of consultancy, advisory and direct support services. This includes strategic inclusion and behaviour consultancy, school and trust level inclusion packages, internal alternative provision design and development, training and CPD, and ongoing retainers and strategic partnerships. Alongside this, we provide targeted mentoring for children and young people, parent and guardian support or mediation, and combined child and family packages where relational and systemic needs intersect.
Our approach is practical, evidence informed and grounded in a deep understanding of school systems and the pressures faced by staff, pupils and families. This includes supporting schools to align inclusive practice, behaviour systems and everyday decision making with the updated Ofsted expectations framework introduced in November 2025, in a way that is ethical, proportionate and sustainable.
We work collaboratively with leadership teams to identify barriers to learning, strengthen systems and embed inclusive practice that improves engagement, behaviour and long term outcomes.
All services operate within clear professional boundaries. This is not a therapeutic, clinical or advocacy service. Safeguarding is managed in line with school procedures, and all work is commissioned, overseen and quality assured by the referring organisation. Delivery is available online or in person, allowing support to be flexible while remaining consistent, accountable and impact focused.

Supporting schools under the updated Ofsted expectations framework
The updated Ofsted expectations framework, introduced in November 2025, has led many schools to reflect on inspection readiness and how inclusive practice is experienced day to day. Alongside our wider inclusion and behaviour work, we support schools to feel confident, prepared and aligned, ensuring systems, practice and decision making reflect both their values and inspection expectations.
